CONTEST RULES
1. The contest will be grouped into age brackets.
Children 5 - 8 years old, pre-teens 9 - 13 years old and teens 14-17 years old.
There will be gift certificates awarded in each bracket.
Contestants should complete all decorating without adult intervention, but under age 6 may have adult supervision if necessary.
2. Bulldogs may be decorated in any medium of choice. For example, if you want a surfer bulldog or a bulldog in a tutu, it is totally up to you. However, bulldogs may NOT be decorated with any gang symbols, or in any religious or political motifs. If there are less than 3 bulldogs submitted in any age category judges may, at their discretion combine or change category parameters.
3. Participants have until August 21st to complete their bulldog.
The finished pieces should be brought to the Batavia VFW from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 21st, 2011. Judging will take place in the Admirals room between 5:00 and 6:00 pm. Judging time may vary depending on the amount of submissions.
This event is a fundraiser benefitting the Stanley Johnson Scholarship Fund and Boys & Girls State through the American Legion. It is presented by Ceramics On The Fox and the American Legion Post 504 of Batavia.
